This is the only book i had desire to read it, ever since i could remember, my friends during college love to read this book and makes me curious to read it to, although first i borrowed the three series, then suddenly i'm in love with the story, "this is the kind of novel i love though", what a fairy tale :).
To be honest, i'm not a typical huge fans who's joining the harry potter community fans like others, but believe me, if you ask me what novel i love in a first place, my answer is this one.
The books chronicle the adventures of the adolescent wizard Harry Potter and his best friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, all of whom are students at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The main story arc concerns Harry's quest to overcome the evil dark wizard Lord Voldemort, whose aim is to conquer the wizarding world and subjugate non-magical people, and who seeks to destroy all those who stand in hos way, especially Harry himself. taken from Wikipedia
Then someday, i watched the Oprah show, talking how made harry potter being famously in the worldwide, the story said that J.K Rowling the author have sent this story book on script she has written with a traditional type-writer that she re-write again, since she don't have money to print it to five or more publishers and get rejected, until one publisher read it and say yes to publish it.
First three stories went "best-sellers", and the fourth book is already ordered more than 5 millions before it's published, well can you believe that. Teacher in kindergarten in USA even uses the book to tell a story in classrooms.
After the success of the printed books, it's get in to movies, and again it's booming, and now i'm still waiting for the final chapter of the movies "harry potter and the deadly hallow : part 2" that yet to come to my country, hopefully soon.
I love Harry potter the books and the movies, and i'm definitely going to tell the story of harry potter to my daughter soon :)
